FAQs

What is FEUTEU?

Our name is a phonetic version of ‘photo’. We are committed to presenting all types of contemporary photo-related art featuring reputable artists alongside the finest emerging talent. Feuteu aims to provide collectors a trustworthy platform, real expertise and quality advice alongside efficient service offered with integrity and responsibility.

What type of art does FEUTEU offer?

Feuteu aims to offer a broad range of all contemporary photographic styles: street, abstract, cameraless, documentary, conceptual and more. These may be original prints, authorised reprints or editions. You may also find other contemporary art where photography is an intrinsic part: artists like John Stezaker and Sir Peter Blake who use appropriated or ‘found’ photography in their own way or even painters like Hugh Mendes who copy photographic images.

How do you control the quality of the art listed?

We have combined experience amounting to tens of years in contemporary art and a deep knowledge of photography. Feuteu buys from a worldwide selection of collectors, dealers and auction houses, selecting art from the very best artists and of a suitable quality for serious collectors. Almost every artist has a substantial auction history whilst others may be acknowledged as ‘rising stars’. We do not offer any art that is simply ‘decorative’ and without intrinsic value.

Can we visit FEUTEU?

We do not have permanent gallery space and only offer work online. By saving on premises and staffing it helps us to offer you top artworks at the most competitive rates.

What guarantees do you offer?

We promise that all our art is 100% genuine and as described. We only buy from reputable sources and check all works both before and after purchase. Please see our sections on Buying and Returns plus our Terms and Conditions.

Do prices include tax?

The price you see is what you pay. There are no other taxes or charges other than shipping, calculated for your location at checkout. There is no VAT - either to add or subtract. For overseas buyers any import taxes or duties are of course your responsibility.

Can I get a discount?

Feuteu will sell and ship to any destination. You are responsible to provide an accurate delivery address and advise us of any special shipping instructions the same day as your purchase. Please consider your local tax and duty charges.

What about shipping, damage and insurance?

Our own shipping includes full insurance, including for damage in transit. Read more details under 'Shipping'.

Do you offer a framing service?

No* - due to the wide variety of choice, as well as potential for damage in shipping, it is better to choose your own local professional framer.

* Except Slim Aarons, Michael Ochs and Barbara Alper - please request details.

What are the quoted dimensions?

To avoid confusion we only list paper (or support) dimension - never the image or frame. Where image size is significantly smaller than the paper we provide a second image showing the full sheet.

Why don’t you show categories of condition?

We do not use terms like ‘Mint’ or ‘Good’ as these are not universal in the art world. We also cover many mediums: screenprint, lithograph, mixed media and more. Our descriptions use the convention of major auction houses and carefully note any condition issues.
