This original artwork, created for Ari Aster's Eddington by internationally-acclaimed artist Gregory Crewdson, is being offered as a limited edition fine art print. It is the first time Crewdson has made an original work especially for a motion picture — an idea posed to him by Aster — and an invitation Crewdson accepted because of his longtime admiration and respect for Aster's filmmaking, and a shared aesthetic sensibility. A24 produced the picture with Crewdson, his own director of photography and lighting team, alongside Eddington's production and art department, and features Joaquin Phoenix in his role as Joe Cross — culminating in a unique artistic vision within the world of another.
