Overview
As Henri Cartier-Bresson observed, "Magnum is a community of thought, a shared human quality, a curiosity about what is going on in the world, a respect for what is going on and a desire to transcribe it visually"

Magnum Editions brings together a selection of photographs from our collection of Magnum Photos, one of the most influential institutions in contemporary photography.

Founded in 1947, Magnum has played a central role in shaping how we understand photographic storytelling. Its history includes figures such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Martin Parr, whose work helped define documentary photography for generations.

Today, Magnum continues to support photographers working across documentary and fine art practice, while also maintaining a living archive of work that spans decades and geographies.

These editions reflect that ongoing continuity, images that move between documentation and interpretation, and remain open to new audiences and collectors.
